Explanation of "Level"

Suggested Skill Level for Taking Selected Classes:

Below is a general explanation of the skill level needed to attend a particular class.  Participants are encouraged to take level into consideration when registering.  Very inexperienced users may feel overwhelmed taking classes beyond their level; more experienced users may not feel sufficiently challenged by lower level classes.

Advanced:  Skilled Internet browner and email user.  Familiar with the software application that is the topic of the class.  Ready to tackle advanced features of the application which is the topic of the class.

N/A - Not Applicable: Class is primarily informational or discussion-oriented about the topic and basic computer usage skills are not required.

Generally, prerequisite classes are suggested rather than required and enforced.  However, please be aware that the instructor may not be able to provide the individual level of instruction you might require.  The instructor hopes to provide instruction as planned to all participants in the class.  Please understand if the instructor proceeds with the lesson and does not provide remedial instruction for specific individuals.
